As it's name suggests - the Edge is an 11ft touring kayak. Perfect for general purpose paddling on a wide range of waters, including sheltered coastal areas, canals, lakes and gently moving rivers. The nicely contoured hull and upswept bow, provides stability on flat water, yet also allows the kayak to cut through chop and small waves if the wind gets up. In windy conditions, the drop-down skeg increases it's straight line tracking ability and helps the paddler get to their destination with ease.
With plenty of well designed features, the Edge 11 can enhance the paddlers time spent on the water. Including a padded, comfortable seat and backrest. Watertight rear storage hatch for lunch or overnight camping equipment. And a rod holder for those wishing to dabble in a spot of kayak angling.
11 ft is what most consider the "magic number" in day touring kayak lengths, providing a great combination of forward speed and manoeuvrability.
